Karniol Małecki i Wspólnicy was the first private institution in Poland to co-operate with the “Flying Gallery”- an art gallery created by the Belgian art historian Clotilde Simonis-Gorska.
The law firm’s patronage of the “Flying Gallery” allows young Polish artists to set-up exhibitions inside the office. This not only gives artists a chance to promote their work but also means KMW employees can enjoy art on a day-to-day basis.
The co-operation between the Flying Gallery and Karniol Małecki i Wspólnicy was of such a high standard it was awarded a prize by the Commitment to Europe – arts and business Foundation.
KMW’s partners, who are also art lovers, could not resist the temptation of hosting the same gallery in their own premises. Their office is aptly located next to the Old Town, which remains the artistic centre of Poland’s capital.
Our law firm is proud to have implemented a new form of artistic patronage, which supplements our traditional expertise in copyright law and industrial property law.
